Balticfloc eco-wool ensures energy efficiency in the new Cesvaine senior living facility
We are proud to announce that the SIA Balticfloc team has contributed its expertise and know-how to the construction of a new, energy-efficient senior living facility in Cesvaine (16 Augusta Saulieša Street). Our own high-quality eco-wool, which we manufacture ourselves, has been incorporated into the building’s insulation.

This ambitious project by the Madona Municipality is being developed in accordance with the highest modern construction standards, to ensure low utility costs and an environmentally friendly environment for future residents.
Why was Balticfloc eco-wool specifically chosen for this project?
- Maximum energy efficiency: Ekovate fills even the tiniest gaps, completely eliminating thermal bridges—or “cold spots”—which is essential for a building to retain heat over the long term.
- Health and Environmentally Friendly: Balticfloc eco-wool is manufactured in Latvia from recycled waste paper (cellulose fibers). It is natural and creates a favorable microclimate, which is especially important in medical and social care facilities.
- Safety First: The material has high fire resistance (it prevents the spread of flames), and natural mineral salt additives protect structures from rot, mold, and pests.
Thanks to precise and professional installation, these new buildings have been equipped with a monolithic, breathable, and reliable layer of thermal insulation. We are pleased that our product will help create a cozy, warm, and safe environment for seniors in the Madona region!
